Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Rotary Equipment

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a focus on rotary equipment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, and agitators;
  • Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for vendors;
  • Conduct calculations, including sizing, NPSHa, and motor capacity calculations;
  • Develop and maintain vendor lists and material requisitions;
  • Evaluate technical bids from vendors;
  • Purchase requisitions and vendor document reviews;
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers;
  • Maintain knowledge of international codes and standards related to the field, such as API 610, API 674, API 676, API 617, API 618, API 619, and API 673;
  • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of datasheets, specifications, and vendor documents;
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing P&IDs and reviewing process documents;
  • Familiarity with inspection requirements, testing requirements, and non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
  • 10-12 years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering, with a focus on rotary equipment;
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, and agitators;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards related to the field;
  • Experience with P&IDs and process document reviews;
  • Familiarity with inspection requirements, testing requirements, and NDE techniques;
