Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft patent applications for inventions in the field of information and communication technologies.
  • Deliver prosecution projects, including formulating response strategies for office actions and drafting complete responses to office actions.
  • Develop specifications and applications that meet legal and procedural standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to team members on multiple technical areas.
  • Mentor team members and interns on assigned technology areas, offering direction and guidance for drafting and/or prosecution work.
  • Apply process knowledge to produce consistent, high-quality results in assigned tasks.
  • Independently perform multiple tasks on assigned projects, including creating and supporting processes for client deliverables and talent development.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues, implement best practices, and provide recommendations to enhance team performance and improve productivity.
  • Analyze and solve complex problems using available tools.
  • Participate in hiring processes, preparing test papers, evaluating candidates, and interviewing applicants.
  • Lead specialized technical assignments and projects requiring high levels of proficiency and competency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering/technology from a reputable institution.
  • Strong domain expertise in ICT fields.
  • Four years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with at least two years of experience in patent drafting for the US jurisdiction.

Experience in drafting over 50 patent applications for the US domain is highly desirable.
