Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and secure software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing software architecture, system designs, and integration strategies.
  • Collaborating with senior developers to define software architecture and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to SOLID principles, TDD, and Agile methodologies.
  • Participating in and conducting code reviews to ensure software quality standards.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and optimizing application performance for high-volume, large-scale systems.
  • Working closely with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex production issues.
  • Writing technical documentation for code, architecture, and systems.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in Java development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of professional experience in Java development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Java 8 or higher, including multithreading, collections, lambdas, streams, and Java concurrency.
  • Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate, and JPA.
  • Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and working with microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency in Git, with experience using version control systems in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong understanding and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit tests using tools like JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
