Embedded Firmware Specialist

You will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge embedded firmware for wearable and IoT devices. Our team of skilled professionals is seeking a skilled professional with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in embedded systems.

About the Role

  • Design and develop optimized embedded firmware for wearable and IoT devices.
  • Work on low-power wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.) and wireless charging/power systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers on wearable and IoT device design for seamless integration.
  • Implement power management strategies for energy-efficient devices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, test cases, and validation processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to bring concepts from prototype to production.

Key Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming.
  • Hands-on experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of wireless power technologies (Qi, NFC, RF-based charging).
  • Experience with wearable device platforms (health trackers, smartwatches, fitness devices).
  • Proficiency with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.) and microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ESP32, etc.).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in wearable and IoT device hardware design.
  • Familiarity with sensor integration (motion, biometric, environmental).
  • Understanding of PCB design principles and hardware bring-up.
  • Experience in OTA firmware updates and device provisioning.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, GCP IoT) for device connectivity.
