Job Title: Azure Data Loss Prevention Engineer

As an Azure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust DLP policies and rules to safeguard Microsoft 365 and Azure services. Your expertise in data discovery and classification will help identify and label sensitive data across the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy DLP policies and rules for Microsoft 365 and Azure services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, and Azure Storage.
  • Integrate DLP solutions with other security tools such as Microsoft Cloud App Security, Azure Sentinel, Azure Information Protection, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Perform data discovery and classification to identify and label sensitive data across the cloud environment.
  • Configure and manage DLP alerts, notifications, and reports using Microsoft 365 Compliance Center and Azure Portal.
  • Investigate DLP incidents and policy violations using various tools and techniques.
  • Provide guidance on DLP best practices and compliance requirements to business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Develop and maintain DLP documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide training and awareness on DLP to end users and administrators.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in DLP engineering, administration, or consulting with Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure DLP solutions and features.
  • Experience with other Microsoft security products such as Microsoft Cloud App Security, Azure Information Protection, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
