About the Position

The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in backend engineering and experience integrating machine learning models into production APIs and pipelines.

  • Create efficient and scalable solutions using FastAPI, Django or Flask.
  • Work closely with ML engineers and product teams to deliver AI-driven features that power user experiences.
  • Develop high-performance APIs for serving recommendations and intelligent results.
  • Integrate vector databases like Qdrant or Pinecone to enable similarity search and embeddings.
  • Deploy and monitor services in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate on system architecture, performance optimization and design decisions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record of building and deploying production-ready APIs.
  • Experience with distributed systems and strong understanding of backend architecture.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
  • Database skills: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team settings.
