The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in biomedical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Ensure that all medical devices are properly installed, maintained, and repaired.
  2. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular safety and performance tests on medical equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  3. Technical Support: Collaborate with clinical staff to assess equipment needs and provide technical support for efficient use.
  4. Inventory Management: Manage inventory, source parts, and coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and service contracts.
  5. Maintenance Programs: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of medical equipment and reduce downtime.
  6. New Technology Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and selecting new medical technology and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in biomedical engineering or medical device maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair medical equipment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines related to medical device management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clinical and technical teams.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing equipment maintenance and service.
