Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Linux Automation Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operation of automated patch, vulnerability, and configuration compliance frameworks across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) endpoints.

  • Design and implement automated patch remediation for RHEL 7/8/9 systems with scripting skills in Bash, Python, and YAML.
  • Maintain detailed SOPs, deployment guides, and compliance documentation with a focus on quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Patch Management Automation
  • Develop and maintain scripts for compliance enforcement and integrate patch management with enterprise dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Implement automated remediation playbooks for CVEs and STIG/CIS benchmarks ensuring regulatory compliance.
Systems Integration & Compliance
  • Integrate with enterprise tools such as SIEM, ITSM, LDAP, PIM/PAM, and Red Hat IPA/Satellite.
  • Generate audit-ready reports and dashboards for patch status and vulnerability closure ensuring transparency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration and automation with expertise in RHEL.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in RHEL 7/8/9.
  • Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python, YAML.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, and BigFix.
