Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality video content using original and repurposed footage.

To achieve this, the Video Editor will work closely with teams to grasp their needs and specifications.

This involves developing and reviewing scripts and raw materials for videos, as well as trimming footage segments and putting together the sequence.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut).

They will also have demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio, familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D and compositing, and creative mind and storytelling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging video content
  • Develop and review scripts and raw materials
  • Edit video footage and audio
  • Add music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
  • Consult with stakeholders from various teams
  • Stay up-to-date with new editing technologies and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Video Editor
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D and compositing
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
