The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining effective tax governance frameworks
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize business outcomes
  • Managing tax risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with the finance team to integrate tax policies across all operations
  • Providing timely updates on new tax rules and best practices to management and stakeholders

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in direct tax practice, particularly in handling litigation matters independently
  • Strong exposure to corporate taxation matters, regular filing/reporting, international taxation, and transfer pricing
  • Familiarity with corporate regulatory requirements, GST, tax systems, and ERP
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Active leadership and strong stakeholder management skills
