Job Summary:

The Project Implementation Specialist for Supply Chain Management will be responsible for supporting the implementation and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) SCM modules. The role involves coordinating project activities, facilitating communication among stakeholders, tracking progress, managing schedules, and assisting in issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation Coordination:

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring D365 SCM implementation projects.
  • Support creation and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track and report project milestones and deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and service providers.

Configuration and Optimization:

  • Support end-to-end configuration and optimization of D365 SCM modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to configure inventory management, procurement, demand planning, and warehouse management functionalities.
  • Assist in data migration, integration, and testing activities during implementation.
  • Support change management efforts to facilitate a smooth transition to D365 SCM solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain and update project documentation, including meeting notes, project plans, and status reports.
  • Ensure all project-related documents are properly organized and accessible.
  • Assist in preparation of user manuals, training materials, and documentation for post-implementation support.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as primary point of contact for project team members and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate project status updates to relevant parties.
  • Assist in managing expectations and addressing concerns from project stakeholders.

Issue Resolution and Quality Assurance:

  • Identify and escalate issues or risks that could impact the project timeline or quality.
  • Work with project managers and technical teams to propose and implement solutions.

Vendor and Resource Management:

  • Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of services and resources.
  • Monitor project resource allocation and support project manager in resource scheduling.

Training and Support:

  • Support training efforts of end-users on D365 SCM functionalities.
  • Assist in providing post-implementation support and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management in an IT or supply chain environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM module implementation is required.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems, particularly D365, is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes and terminology is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of D365 SCM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and demand planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
