This position involves working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and performing various tasks related to product assembly, quality control, and maintenance.
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in Chennai, India.
- Perform assembly/manufacture of products per documented Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain production rates and perform quality in-line audit checks
- Identify and suggest opportunities for waste identification and elimination
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery
- Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process
- Work with others to ensure that equipment is in proper working order
- Work efficiently in a team-based structure within production cells/groups
- Ensure safe working practices at all times
- Maintain daily shop clean-ups and adhere to 6S organization standards
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve production goals
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and experience working in a manufacturing environment. Adaptability and ability to work under pressure are essential.
