Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief IT Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Infosys. This role is responsible for designing and implementing the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our business while maintaining high levels of security and reliability.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects effectively, and for ensuring that all IT operations adhere to relevant regulations and standards through internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and ensure high service levels.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT projects, and to develop strategies for implementing them.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions about IT investments and resource allocation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, and advise the business on how to leverage these to achieve competitive advantage.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on design, implementation, and management.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring IT teams, with a track record of success in developing and retaining talent.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience in applying these in a real-world context.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Salary Range
$120,000 - $180,000 per year
