We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive investment promotion and economic development projects. As the strategic interface between international governments/economic development organizations (EDOs) and potential investors, you will play a critical role in fostering global trade partnerships.

In this position, you will engage C-level executives to uncover investment opportunities, lead FDI advisory and economic promotion projects end-to-end, and drive business development and client relationships with international EDOs. Your expertise will facilitate B2B meetings, trade roadshows, and Trade & Invest Missions, enabling companies to invest and expand in their geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, trade bodies, and international EDOs, ensuring their investment promotion objectives are met.
  • Business Development & Project Delivery: Identify and pursue new opportunities for investment promotion, execute ongoing projects, and draft compelling proposals, project plans, and strategic recommendations.
  • International Market Expansion & FDI Advisory: Analyze sectoral trends, identify potential investors, and facilitate B2B meetings, trade roadshows, and investment promotion events.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investment promotion, economic development, international trade, market-entry consulting, or business development with governments/trade bodies.
  • Knowledge of FDI, global trade, and sectoral trends (manufacturing, services, technology, life sciences, etc.).
  • Strong CXO-level engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Capability to interpret market intelligence and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
