Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and skilled Visual Storyteller to join our team. This role requires the ability to select and implement engaging media assets that enhance video content while maintaining narrative alignment.

About the Role

This position demands excellent storytelling instincts, attention to detail, and strong media selection skills. The successful candidate will source and select high-quality video and image assets from media partners and free usage catalogues that align perfectly with article content and client brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Media Selection and Implementation: Ensure all selected media is current by filtering for recent assets (within 72 hours to 1 month). Properly document and attribute media sources to maintain licensing compliance.
  • Content Quality Management: Verify that all media used is contextually relevant to the content, avoiding generic or unrelated footage. Maintain contextual accuracy between narrative and visual elements.

Requirements

  • Experience in video production, digital content creation, or media curation.
  • Strong understanding of narrative alignment and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent research skills for finding specific, relevant media assets.
  • Proficiency with stock media platforms and free usage catalogues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality.

  • Background in journalism, media studies, or related fields.
  • Experience with media asset management systems.
  • Familiarity with internal media management platforms.
