Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and coordinating software projects, excellent client communication skills, and a strong knowledge of project management tools.

  • Oversee all stages of the software project life cycle from planning and development to implementation and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, cost estimates, risk management plans, and performance reports.
  • Foster effective communication within the team, with stakeholders, and clients to ensure clarity of project objectives, deadlines, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Create flowcharts and other documentation to finalize the project scope and present them to clients and stakeholders for approval.
  • Utilize project management tools like GitLab or Jira to manage tasks, monitor progress, and handle project documentation.
  • Coordinate project meetings, create detailed plans to achieve goals, and oversee the integration of technical activities.
  • Assist with issue resolution or escalation, manage stakeholder relations, and communicate effectively with clients to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a project coordinator or similar role preferably within the software industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools like GitLab or Jira.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as proficient knowledge of agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
