Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines using cloud-based technologies.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to transform data into a format that can be easily analyzed.
  • Evaluate and implement data architecture that supports the requirements of the business and aligns with the latest industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data transformations (ETL), and data quality processes.
  • Ensure data reliability, efficiency, and quality through data cleansing and data harmonization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies and trends to drive innovation and improve existing infrastructure.
  • Work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Hands-on development work building scalable data engineering pipelines and other data engineering/modelling work using Python or Java.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and NOSQL databases.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and Agile work environment.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud environment.
  • Experience with Dataflow (Apache Beam), Vertex AI, Tableau, or Looker, and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow/Composer.
