DevOps Engineer with Advanced Reliability Focus

The ideal candidate for this DevOps Engineer position has advanced skills in site reliability engineering and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure solutions using cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Develop and enforce automated testing and deployment strategies to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that drive business value.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and site reliability engineering, sharing knowledge with colleagues to enhance the overall team performance.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with a strong background in site reliability engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef), and containerization (Docker) technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in Python, bash, powershell is necessary. Additionally, we're looking for expertise in CI/CD, IaC, containerization (docker), orchestration (kubernetes), monitoring (prometheus). git, github is needed too. Also, you must have good knowledge about linux/unix systems administration, networking. Preferred is aws certifications.

Other Skills:

Git and Github are preferred. Additionaly, it would be nice if you have some knowledge about networking, dns, load balancing and firewalls.
