**Job Overview:**

We're seeking a seasoned Data Engineer and Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that meet the needs of our business.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in data architecture or data engineering roles, with a significant focus in P&C insurance domains preferred
**Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement large-scale data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes
  2. Develop and maintain complex data architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
  4. Ensure data security patterns, such as tokenization, encryption, and obfuscation, are implemented correctly
  5. Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures and platforms, such as ADLS, Synapse, Snowflake, and Azure SQL Database
  6. Expertise in ensuring data security patterns, such as tokenization, encryption, and obfuscation
  7. Skilled in asynchronous programming patterns
  8. Familiarity with containerization and microservices frameworks, such as Docker and Kubernetes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile project environments, including ceremonies and tools like JIRA
