Technical Expertise Required

To leverage our infrastructure, we require an expert who can drive database performance and availability.

This role involves implementing automation using CL programming skills for seamless operations. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of SQL/400 and other AS/400 utilities. Strong expertise in ILE Advanced concepts including procedures, service programs, functions, and free RPG coding syntax is essential.

The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring uptime and availability of the database for reporting purposes. We also expect them to possess hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform iSeries/AS400 Technical Support & Operations
  • Implement automation using CL programming skills
  • Ensure uptime and availability of the database for reporting
  • Work independently with the client team
  • Provide technical support during testing and deployment
  • Assist in post-deployment support
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE
  • Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts
  • Experience with complex SQL concepts and programming
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment
  • Experience creating, building, and maintaining different libraries in an AS/400 environment
