Hardware Engineer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation, networking, and camera infrastructure systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development: Design and develop instrumentation systems and hardware solutions.
  2. Installation and Testing: Install, configure, and test CCTV systems and associated hardware, including networking and camera infrastructure.
  3. Maintenance and Monitoring: Manage and maintain system performance, reliability, and uptime through regular monitoring and preventive maintenance.
  4. Networking Support: Support installation and maintenance of networking protocols, hardware, and camera systems.
  5. System Optimization: Configure and optimize TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and other network protocols for seamless connectivity.
  6. System Diagnostics: Conduct system diagnostics and performance tests, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  7. Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with existing IT and security infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
  • Strong hands-on experience with CCTV, camera infrastructure, and networking hardware.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and networking protocols.
  • Experience in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain hardware and surveillance systems.
