Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Zscaler Security Expert. This individual will be responsible for administering and maintaining Zscaler security policies, access controls, and authentication settings.

  • Policy Administration: The successful candidate will maintain and update Zscaler security policies, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance frameworks. This includes but is not limited to SAML/SSO configuration, access control management, and authentication setup.
  • System Monitoring & Reporting: Our ideal candidate will continuously monitor Zscaler dashboards for alerts, anomalies, and performance metrics. Regular reports on threat activity, usage trends, and compliance status will be provided to clients.
  • User Support & Issue Resolution: Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide user support for Zscaler-related issues are essential. Collaboration with IT teams to resolve connectivity, access, and policy-related problems is also required. Escalation of complex issues will be necessary in some cases.
  • Documentation & Change Management: Detailed documentation including configuration records, troubleshooting guides, network diagrams, and change logs will be maintained by the successful candidate. All updates must follow established change management protocols.
  • Client Engagement & Coordination: Participation in client meetings, status calls, and planning sessions is crucial. Clear and professional communication of technical updates, policy changes, and recommendations to clients is also required. Liaising with client IT teams, cybersecurity personnel, and vendors ensures smooth operation and integration of Zscaler solutions.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensuring Zscaler configurations align with regulatory frameworks such as NIST and GDPR is vital. Assistance with audit preparation and evidence collection may also be required.
  • Platform Maintenance & Updates: Staying informed about Zscaler product updates and coordinating implementation of new features or integrations is essential. Recommendations based on evolving security needs and operational efficiency will also be made.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Zscaler products and services, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and experience with policy administration and system monitoring.
