**Job Description:**

As a senior software engineer in test, you will be part of our cross-functional Browser Technology team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and scale the next secure web browser experience for users.

You will be working on challenging problems in distributed systems at large scale: performance and scalability, high availability, monitoring, visibility, and analytics. You will also have exposure to advanced Web technologies, such as Chromium, and highly distributed network features.

Your role will involve solving complex issues while collaborating with other teams to create an amazing user experience.

  • Reviewing product specifications and writing test cases, developing test plans for assigned areas in the Engineering team for Browser Technology.
  • Developing expertise in cloud security solutions, and using that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole.
  • Contributing to building a flexible and scalable automation solution by designing test plans with clear separation of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests to ensure application quality.
  • Building state-of-the-art tools to improve the testing process.
  • Working closely with development and design teams to help create an amazing user experience.
  • Helping to create and implement quality processes and requirements.
  • Working closely with the team to replicate customer environments.
  • Identifying and communicating risks about our releases.
  • Owning and making quality decisions for the solution.
  • Owning the release and being a customer advocate.
