Senior Support Specialist for Medical Billing and Practice Management Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Specialist to join our team at expEDIum. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of medical billing and practice management systems, supporting over 6,500 users across the United States.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product support, with experience in troubleshooting complex software issues. You will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients, including resolving technical issues, responding to emails, and collaborating with our development team to identify and fix problems.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Provide first, second, and third-tier support via email and online web tools
- Troubleshoot complex software issues and collaborate with the development team to resolve problems
- Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates on issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and issue resolutions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of product information and solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in product support, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of database programming (SQL scripts) and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Windows Server, Application Server (JBOSS, WildFly), and DBMS (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of SOAP, XML, and JSON
