Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.

The successful candidate will focus on functional and regression testing across various platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the bug tracking system, and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable and meets expectations.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective) to align testing with delivery timelines.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in manual QA testing for software as a service (SaaS) or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing e-commerce, membership, or learning management systems (LMS).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Exposure to WordPress, React/Next.js-based platforms.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics.
