About the Role

We are looking for an experienced EPIC Lead to drive the delivery of our product roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and be able to lead cross-functional teams.

  • The mission for this role is to define the EPIC by working collaboratively with stakeholders and deliver key milestones.
  • You will manage interfaces with other streams as well to coordinate deliverables, including operation, after market, back office, etc.
  • A typical team consists of concept developers, cyber security engineers, verification leaders, and system/SW Architects.
  • You will drive the EPIC through decision points for approval and introduce implementation plans to Agile Release Trains.
  • Our technology roadmaps focus on SW&HW Connectivity platforms, Communication technologies, Time and positioning, Assistance request & Emergency calls, and Connected Solutions for the 'Telematics Gateway Generation – 3' Product.

This role involves managing EPICs for a large-scale product and coordinating with various teams to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure complete product delivery according to the EPIC description.
  • Detect and propose improvement of the Epic description based on the roadmap.
  • Plan the right sequence of milestones and align these milestones with concerned parties.
  • Break down EPICs into capabilities and features meeting milestones.
  • Synchronize capabilities to secure that milestones are met and escalate when needed.
  • Support and communicate across organizational boundaries to safeguard EPIC delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science, or equal.
  • Experience of Project/Product management as an EPIC Owner, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or relevant Technical Leadership.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in embedded software, hardware, and system development, preferably in the Automotive industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAFe Agile Way of Working and mindset.
  • Strong networking abilities adapt to a multicultural environment.
  • High customer and business focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
