Job Overview

Become an integral part of our bakery team and contribute to the production of high-quality baked goods. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet our stringent standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finish a variety of bakery items, including bread, pastries, cookies, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team on new recipe trials and product development initiatives.
  • Ensure uniformity in taste, texture, and presentation of bakery products through rigorous quality control measures.
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels and report any shortages to the procurement department.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery unit, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Manage daily bakery operations, focusing on smooth workflow and timely production.
  • Conduct regular checks to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, as well as regulatory requirements such as FSSAI norms and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain comprehensive baking logs, production sheets, and wastage reports for auditing purposes.
  • Comply with company SOPs and internal audit requirements.

Team Collaboration:

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members (Commis II, III) in bakery tasks, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work closely with kitchen and cafe teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
