Cloud Security Consultant - Azure

We are seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to join our team. As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud-based security services based on pre-defined architecture frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls). Familiarity with cloud security platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform) is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and Implementing Cloud-Based Security Services: You will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based security services based on pre-defined architecture frameworks.
  • Maintaining and Improving the Security Posture: You will maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure platform.
  • Identifying and Remediating Vulnerabilities: You will identify and remediate vulnerabilities in cloud-based systems.
  • Defining Security Controls and Policies: You will define security controls and policies, access to data, and monitoring alerts to ensure data protection.
  • Designing Network Security: You will design network security in a hybrid context with traditional network-centric controls.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong Understanding of Cloud Computing Technologies: Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Knowledge of Security Frameworks: Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Security Platforms: Familiarity with cloud security platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management: Understanding of identity and access management, organizational structure and policies, and technologies for data protection.
  • Good Understanding of Security Concepts: Good understanding of security concepts (Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud computing, SIEM, SOAR, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, PAM).

Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud is a plus. Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting languages like Powershell, Python, .Net is also beneficial.

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or information technology is required for this role.
