Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. As a Java Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and high-performance applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Spring framework and Spring Boot, with expertise in API development, web security principles, and unit testing.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on public cloud environments like AWS. Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and CI/CD tools is highly desirable.

  • Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code for Java-based web applications.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define application requirements and technical specifications.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and be proficient in Agile methodologies.

Key Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Expertise in Spring framework and Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge of Java 8 and its ecosystem.
  • Experience with API development, web security principles, and unit testing.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud-native applications and public cloud environments like AWS.
  • Microservices architecture and CI/CD tooling experience is highly desirable.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
