Senior Agricultural Scientist

HortBio Technologies Pvt Ltd is a pioneering company in the horticulture industry, founded in August 2018. Our expertise lies in designing and manufacturing customised coco coir-based growing media options for various high-value crops.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agricultural Scientist to join our team in Thanjavur. This full-time on-site role will be responsible for tasks related to soil science, agriculture, irrigation, research, and plant nutrition to optimise crop production and sustainability.

• Conduct research and analysis on soil science and plant nutrition to improve crop yields
• Develop and implement effective irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth in the horticulture industry
• Provide expert advice on agricultural best practices to ensure sustainable crop production

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of soil science and plant nutrition principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $80,000 based on location and experience.
