Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Oncology Nutritionist to join our team.

  • Manage the nutritional needs of out-patients and in-patients in Paediatric Oncology and Hematology units, ensuring their health and diet align with medical guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of each child's health and diet, utilizing anthropometric measurements like height, weight, and BMI, and evaluate their nutritional status to develop personalized diet plans.
  • Collaborate with children and families to create individualized diet plans based on medical conditions and growth requirements, promoting healthy eating habits and supporting treatment challenges.
  • Maintain detailed records of nutritional counsel for monitoring, evaluation, and case study publication, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead weekly group counselling sessions and parent support meetings to educate caregivers on good nutrition practices and help them cope with treatment-related challenges.
  • Distribute essential nutritional aid at the hospital, including monthly rations, eggs, bananas, dry fruits, and milk, to support patient well-being.
  • Participate in organizational meetings, training programs, and engage in continuous learning and evaluations to stay updated on the latest nutritional science and research developments.
  • Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and report regularly to the team lead, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
  • Evaluate patient satisfaction, quality of care, and ensure efficient operations within the nutrition program, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 6-month internship experience at a multispecialty hospital and at least 1-year relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Fluency in Telugu and Hindi languages is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to at least 18 months of work, demonstrating stability and reliability.
