Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on grinding machines, including setting up and running jobs, maintaining optimal performance, and resolving technical issues.

Additionally, the individual will operate and maintain turning centers, ensuring precision and efficiency in metalworking processes.

Machining center operations are also a key responsibility, with the ability to program, set up, and operate machining centers (HMC/VMC) to meet production demands.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will apply knowledge of heat treatment processes to induce hardening in steel components.

CNC & PLC maintenance is also crucial, involving troubleshooting, repairing, and programming CNC and PLC systems for various manufacturing equipment.

Breakdown, preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies will also be implemented to minimize downtime, optimize performance, and extend equipment lifespan.

Predictive data capture will be used to monitor critical machines, inform maintenance decisions, and improve overall productivity.

Requirements
  • Experience in machine shop maintenance, specifically grinding, turning, and machining center operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling complex equipment and implementing preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Knowledge of heat treatment processes and induction hardening techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and program CNC and PLC systems.
  • Familiarity with predictive data capture and its applications in maintenance decision-making.
