The Network Operations Center (NOC) Monitoring L2 Support role involves advanced network and system monitoring, handling escalated issues, and proactively ensuring network stability.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage escalated incidents from the L1 team, performing in-depth troubleshooting of network, server, and application issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
- Implement changes and upgrades as per change management procedures.
- Develop and maintain monitoring best practices, including alert thresholds and incident response guidelines.
- Provide guidance and support to L1 team members, including technical coaching and process improvement suggestions.
- Create detailed reports on system health, incidents, and performance metrics for management review.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), firewall configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
- Experience with ITIL processes, incident management, and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Advanced English proficiency for clear communication with global teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are preferred.
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and manage on-call responsibilities.
