Job Title: Financial Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial leader to manage our finance department in Hosur. The ideal candidate will be a master of Indian accounting practices within a private limited manufacturing setup.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
  • GST Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on all GST-related matters. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), handle reconciliations, and manage any GST audits or departmental queries.
  • SAP Business One & SQL: Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1. Utilize advanced SQL skills to develop custom financial reports, create complex queries, and work directly with the SAP backend to extract and analyze data.
  • Closing & Reporting: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Audits & Controls: Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial leadership roles.
  • Expert knowledge of Indian accounting practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with SAP Business One.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
