Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and sending invoices to customers, monitoring accounts for timely collection of outstanding balances, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving billing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate and send invoices to customers in accordance with US GAAP standards.
  2. Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  3. Reconcile discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and communicate effectively with customers regarding payments.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all A/R transactions.
  5. Perform analytical tasks, including gathering and organizing information.
  6. Utilize invoicing and accounting software proficiently.
  7. Develop strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
  9. Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and schedules.
  10. Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.
  11. Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Apply strong organizational and time management skills.
  13. Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  14. Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required.
  15. Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
  16. Stay updated on US GAAP regulations and ensure compliance in all accounting activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong active listening and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Comfortable working in a US night shift environment.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
