MP Biomedicals is seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to lead the Finance function in India.

About the Role

The Financial Director will be responsible for ensuring key processes and procedures are followed, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. They will also be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate and timely Group and Region finance reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Ensure the monthly full set of accounts is closed on time, including analysis of financial performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit the monthly Group reporting pack to the Consol team in a timely manner.
  • Compliance: Manage compliance with all Government and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting: Manage budgets and forecast on a monthly basis.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare and maintain the monthly inventory listing, including performing periodic physical inventory checks and full inventory counts at year-end.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with receivables and inventory balances.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team and business partner to the India management team.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as required, such as ERP implementation and system implementation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Accounting.
  • Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience as a Finance Manager.
  • Skills: Intermediate/advanced Excel spreadsheeting skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems such as INFOR M3 and Jedox would be advantageous.

Salary Range: ₹25 lakhs - ₹40 lakhs per annum (based on location and experience)
