Job Title: Bim Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review 3D models from consultants and contractors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage to identify potential issues.
  • Manage views to issues, automated grouped clashes, and BIM Track settings for Navisworks to streamline the process.
  • Display interactive clash points in Navisworks models with sectioning filters to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Publish models to Viewer from Navisworks to enable stakeholders to review and comment on the design.
  • Convert clashes to issues with different properties and attributes to maintain a clear audit trail.
  • Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform early design reviews and constructability analyses to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Manage and update BIM project documents to maintain a centralized repository of information.
  • Extract and verify 3D model quantities to ensure accurate cost estimation and scheduling.
  • Use Autodesk Navisworks for 4D scheduling and simulation to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and hardworking individual with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Specific qualifications include experience in BIM Track issue creation, Navisworks viewpoint creation, and expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Good knowledge of integrated features of BIM Track for Navisworks and basic construction processes.
  • Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Completed bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of work experience in a related field.
