Job Title:

A highly skilled Procurement Manager is sought after to oversee all procurement activities for R&D projects, ensuring a high level of service delivery and cost efficiency.

 

  • Procurement Strategy: Develops effective procurement strategies to improve supply chain performance.
  • Supplier Management: Identifies, evaluates, and manages relationships with suppliers to meet project requirements.
  • Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensures adherence to quality and commercial procedures to minimize financial and quality risks.
  • Process Optimization: Analyzes current processes to identify areas for improvement and implements changes to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Conducts thorough analysis of the supply chain to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement goals and objectives.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience & Education: Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial procurement or a related field, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and additional certifications in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical aspects of industrial products, especially electromechanical components, as well as proficiency in SAP HANA, Ariba, and MS Excel for procurement and data management tasks.
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities.
  • Industry Background Advantage: Experience in electromechanical components and equipment procurement is considered a valuable asset.
