Senior Network Engineer for SCADA Systems

About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Engineer, specializing in SCADA networking solutions. As part of this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure network architectures for AC Substation and HVDC projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop SCADA HMI applications using Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA software platforms* Develop and maintain secured network overall architecture for SCADA HMI systems* Collaborate with sub-suppliers and multiple stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met* Create and customize templates, faceplates, and pop-ups in Micro SCADA and Zenon SCADA to meet project-specific HMI needs* Evaluate and strengthen security connections to the DCS, SCADA, and HMI networks* Lead automation projects and guide team members on business requirements* Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines* Live by Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electronics and Instrumentation (E&I)* Minimum 13 years of working experience in substation automation projects across India and international locations* Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, servers, and workstations, with basic networking skills* Knowledge of Micro SCADA, Zenon, Copa Data, MS Visio, and MS Office* Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to finalize solutions* SCADA, HMI certifications, and networking certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Cyber Security preferred* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
