Job Title: Data Engineering Lead

This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data engineering solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data architectures to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines, integrating multiple sources and ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, cloud computing, and analytics.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements:

  1. Expertise in modern data platforms, including cloud-based services and big data technologies.
  2. Strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  3. Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems.
  4. Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts, including data preparation and modeling techniques.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in data engineering, cloud computing, or related fields.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
