Senior Snowflake Solutions Architect Position

We are seeking an accomplished data solutions expert to design, develop, and optimize large-scale data architectures on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Matillion ETL and proven expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake to ensure compliance, security, and performance.
  • Define best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance for Snowflake environments.
  • Create advanced data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  • Develop and schedule complex data pipelines using Matillion, ensuring efficient data transfer and processing.
  • Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms for critical data systems.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development skills, including cloud-native ETL tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services, with a strong understanding of financial data models.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps integration for data workflows.
  • Deep knowledge of BFSI regulations & compliance in data handling and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
