About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Manager to join our team at Ashnik. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of our IT services business in India.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in the IT industry in India. They will have a strong command of Indian GAAP and familiarity with Singapore Taxation. Hands-on experience with Tally ERP is a must, and familiarity with Xero ERP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Financial Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial plans that align with Ashnik's business objectives.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to senior leaders, ensuring that financial decisions are informed and well-supported.
    • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure funding and credit facilities, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
  • Financial Management & Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of management reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
    • Monitor and manage expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and optimization.
    • Implement and maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial transactions.
  • Statutory Compliance & Taxation:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant taxation laws and regulations, including GST, TDS, and Corporate Tax.
    • Oversee statutory audits, working closely with auditors to ensure that financial statements are accurate and compliant.
    • Coordinate with external advisors to ensure compliance with Singapore taxation laws, if applicable.
  • Leadership & Process Improvement:
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and integrity in all aspects of financial management.
    • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
    • Continuously monitor and evaluate finance operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
