We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Systems Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous testing and validation of industrial embedded devices.

Main Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Perform manual firmware testing and validation for industrial embedded devices such as PLCs, motion logic controllers, RTUs, HMI, and SCADA systems.">
  • Conduct protocol testing specifically on BACnet and Modbus.">
  • Test connectivity protocols including Ethernet, RS485, RS232, and BLE.">
  • Validate control logics in Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring correct operation and compliance.">
  • Execute testing and validation related to HVAC systems and their components.">
  • Utilize testing tools and simulators related to BACnet and Modbus protocols for thorough validation.">
  • Follow Agile and other SDLC methodologies in the testing process to ensure quality and timely delivery.">
  • Log defects and track issues using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.">
  • Analyze issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions collaboratively.">
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing clear status updates and testing results.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • 5-8 years of experience in manual firmware testing of industrial embedded devices.">
  • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, especially BACnet and Modbus.">
  • Experience testing connectivity protocols such as Ethernet, RS485, RS232, and BLE.">
  • Exposure to Building Management System (BMS) testing with control logic validation.">
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC system testing.">
  • Proficient with tools and simulators for BACnet and Modbus testing.">
  • Good understanding of Agile and other SDLC methodologies.">
  • Experience using JIRA or similar tools for defect management.">
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.">
