About Firmware Test Engineers:

We are looking for skilled professionals to develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of firmware for our clients. This involves developing and executing test plans, writing test cases, and collaborating with hardware, software, and QA teams to resolve issues.

  • Develop and execute test plans for firmware updates
  • Write test cases to ensure firmware functionality and compatibility
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to resolve technical issues
Key Responsibilities:

Firmware Test Engineers will be responsible for:

  • Debugging firmware using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools
  • Automating regression testing using Python or Bash scripts
  • Ensuring firmware meets required specifications and industry standards
Required Skills:

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

  • Embedded Systems Knowledge
  • Understanding microcontrollers, sensors, and hardware interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART
  • Programming Languages - Basics knowledge of C or C++
  • RTOS & Embedded Linux
  • Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems and Linux-based embedded platforms
  • Debugging Tools
  • Familiarity with JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and firmware debugging techniques
  • Version Control
  • Using tools like Git for managing codebases and collaborating with developers
