Body Engineering-Design Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the design and development of various body parts, including fuel tanks, sheet metal covers, mirrors, latches, scooter, and motorcycle models.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop body parts that meet project requirements, timelines, quality standards, and costs.
  • Resolve any development issues that may arise during the project cycle.
  • Release designs as per project schedules, create CAD models, and verify packaging.
  • Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for each drawing release.
  • Key Deliverables:
  • Develop quality documents that align with CTQ targets.
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design FMEA (DFMEA).
  • Resolve issues related to product failures during development.
  • Collaborate with plant and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
