Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant - Discount Schemes Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating discount schemes, reconciling claims with MBIL, and facilitating timely accounting and reporting.

• Discount Scheme Coordination
  • Ensure that discount schemes/sales measures from MBIL are understood and communicated to Sales Consultants.
  • Track discounts offered to customers in proforma invoices and final retail invoices.
  • Validate and pass on discounts to customers in retail invoices.
  • Track non-cash discounts, especially service packages/finance subvention offered under MBIL schemes.
• Claims Management
  • Liaise with financing banks under schemes to obtain timely statements of customers.
  • Coordinate with sales executives to collect supporting documents for claims.
  • Compile and send physical claims with necessary documents to MBIL by the 20th of every month.
  • Reconcile quarterly claim summary statements sent by MBIL and respond promptly to any clarifications or open issues.
• Annual Incentives and Claims MIS
  • Verify and validate MB India calculations for PoM incentives.
  • Provide monthly overviews of claims summary to dealership principle/HOD, including amounts claimed/approved/rejected, paid by MBIL/balance receivable.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an automobile dealership setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation, communication skills, analytical skills, and MS Office/Excel.

The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹8,50,000 - ₹12,00,000 based on industry standards and location.
