Job Title: Head of Intellectual Property

As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing and mitigating potential intellectual property risks associated with new product designs.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Graduate or Postgraduate qualification in Mechanical, Electronics, Automotive, or Material Science Engineering is essential for this position.
  • A relevant WON certificate will be advantageous.
  • A qualification in IP Law will be beneficial.

Purpose of the Role:

  1. Conduct thorough analysis of NPD designs to identify potential areas of IP legal risk.
  2. Develop effective search strategies and conduct comprehensive FTO, SOA, invalidation, opposition, and litigation analyses.
  3. Collaborate with IP attorneys and legal associates to produce timely FTO opinion reports.
  4. Drive IP culture within the organization by reviewing designs for IP and initiating actions to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage projects/business clusters independently, releasing periodic IP alerts as required.
  2. Plan and conduct BOM FTO reviews for NPD at product level, standardizing processes and enhancing productivity through digitalization.
  3. Perform advanced technology and competitive intelligence analysis for design IP protection across business clusters.
