We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with 5-8 years of experience in data engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering/data analytics and a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field is required.
- Develop and manage large-scale data solutions using analytic data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks SQL.
- Design and implement ETL processes using tools like SSIS and big data frameworks including Cloudera.
- Create complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
- Analyze data using PySpark for data processing and transformation.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across various databases and file formats including MS SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS.
- Maintain a solid understanding of cloud platforms specifically AWS and version control systems like GitHub and SVN.
- Familiarity with ticket tracking systems like Jira and development environments such as Visual Studio and SSMS.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
