Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Associate Clinical Lead to oversee the clinical aspects of global trials. This role involves project management, risk mitigation, and quality delivery.

  • Responsible for meeting recruitment targets and implementing appropriate strategies.
  • Contributes to the development of project risk mitigation plans and manages clinical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensures quality delivery by identifying standards, planning compliance measurement, monitoring, and overseeing quality issues.
  • Manages clinical finances, including estimate at completion (EAC). Understands scope and creates plans to deliver. Monitors changes against baseline EAC and identifies additional service opportunities or out-of-scope work.
  • Identifies clinical stakeholder landscapes and manages internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and resolution management.
  • Collaborates with the clinical team to support milestone achievements. Reports to internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Resourcing and talent planning of the clinical team. Manages the clinical team to successfully deliver projects through high-quality operational plans and guidance, and project-related trainings.
  • May work as an unblinded clinical lead on projects with 1-2 service lines and single/few countries or alongside senior clinical leads to deliver large, global trials.

Requirements:

  • Requires 5+ years' clinical research/monitoring experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Unblinded monitoring experience preferred.
  • Requires good understanding of the clinical research industry and relevant environments.
  • Requires basic understanding of project finances.
