Key responsibilities of this role include audit planning, execution and finalization.

  • Audit planning involves identifying areas that require attention and developing strategies to address them. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying risks and implementing controls to mitigate these risks.
  • Execution of the audit plan is a critical component of this role. This involves coordinating with team members, gathering information, and conducting fieldwork as necessary. The goal is to ensure that the audit is conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Finalization of the audit report is the last step in this process. This involves reviewing the findings, drafting the report, and presenting it to stakeholders.

This role requires strong knowledge of auditing and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience handling big statutory audit assignments and be able to lead and motivate subordinates. Excellent presentation and English communication skills are also essential.

The role also involves assisting in client management and relationship development. This includes building relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing value-added services to meet those needs.

In addition to these responsibilities, the role also involves regular submissions/postings to knowledge databases. This involves documenting lessons learned, best practices, and other relevant information to share with colleagues and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a proactive and result-oriented individual with excellent time management skills. They will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
